Yesterday on YouTube’s blog they announced that YouTube will be shutting down and no longer accepting any new videos.  After 8 years in service, 1 billions monthly users, 4 billion hours of videos watch each monthly, and 72 hours of video uploaded each month (taken from YouTube Statistics); they “finally have enough content to close the competition”.
